About me

After being born and raised in small town Midwest USA, Kimberly knew that she had to escape the mundane life. The stories she read as a child were a fingertip away. Logically, she joined the United States Army, where she found everything except what she was looking for. Shortly after leaving service, she began her independent writing and freelance career. She now lives in Oregon, thriving in the Pacific North West with her wife and sassy tuxedo cat Bugsy. She writes stories that traverse controversial modern issues in suspenseful, well researched, and fun way. She currently holds a Bachelors Degree in Communications/Professional Writing and is pursuing a Masters in Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University.
